Monty Basnyat is the Director of Tennis at Park Terrace Tennis and Swim Club. Often referred to as the Tennis Zealous Extraordinaire, Monty takes great pride in working and building relationships with students and friends. He is passionate about discovering the how, why, and what of the learning process, not just with regard to tennis, but also in life.

In 2009 Monty invented  the TowelTime Sports Hook www.toweltime.net.  Towel Time is a sports hook to hang a towel during competition. It can be used in multiple sports including the fitness gym and mixed martial arts studios. 

Monty graduated from the University of California, Riverside. Since then he has been competing, teaching, and studying tennis.
