A member of the Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame, Jeff set the standard for tennis in Colorado with an unsurpassed record as a player at the amateur and professional levels. As he regularly competed against the best players in the world, Jeff became a serious student of the game and an accomplished world-class competitor. In 1997, Jeff was named Rookie of the Year by Tennis Week magazine. At the 1997 US Open, Jeff played a nationally televised 2nd round feature match against Michael Chang (then ranked No. 2 in the world), losing in four sets. Earlier that year, he reached the round of 16s in French Open doubles with Petr Korda, losing to the eventual champions after having a match point against them.Other highlights of his career include wins over Taylor Dent, Mardy Fish, Justin Gimelstob, Paul Goldstein, and Dmitry Tursunov, all of whom have been ranked top 100 in the world, as well as beating former or current world top-10 players Fernando Gonzales, Nicholas Lapentti, David Nalbandian, Jiri Novak, Greg Rusedski, and Fernando Verdasco. Jeff currently resides in beautiful Denver, Colorado.
