Circuits are not unlike club ladders but with a small twist
to make them more active and flexible. Players signing up for
circuits will be placed a sheet of paper (a circuit) with 6 to
10 players of roughly the same ability level. Within a 12-week
period of time each player in that circuit must play all the other
players in the circuit. Points are awarded in each match of these
round robins not only by winning but also by how many games you
get in a losing effort. The top two finishers of each round robin
(circuit) will move up to a higher circuit for the next season.
The bottom two finishers will move down to a lower circuit. To
sign up or to have any questions answered please contact the tennis
office at 461-5256.
