The Classical Style: Forehand

  Classical Style Elements

Eastern forehand grip.

Compact swing pattern with a minimum of wrist and hitting arm close to the body.

Vertical swing planes, with the racquet perpendicular to the court, and smooth, high follow-through.

Use of the legs and of body rotation.

Feeling of effortlessness, fluidity and rhythm.
