Loop Forehand

by Monty Basnyat

Movement/Swing Elements

  • Use a semi-western grip.
  • Take the racquet back in a semi-circle motion, with the racquet head ending up slightly above shoulder height.
  • As you step and move forward towards contact, your wrist and racquet head should be below the height of the ball.
  • As you make contact, brush up on the ball, adding a slight upward flick of the wrist to generate extra racquet head speed.

The first animation sequence will scan in slowly. Subsequent sequences will be in slow motion and keep repeating. To stop the endless loop, click on the "Back" button or option on your browser and go back to your previous page.

Note: If you can't see the animation above, your browser doesn't support it (most browsers, including Netscape and Explorer do).
