TennisOne Staff Steve Tourdo Steve Tourdo began playing tennis at age ten and gave his first lesson at sixteen when he agreed to teach a local businessman. Success as a junior player landed him a tennis scholarship at the University of Nevada. After college, Steve gained world rankings in both singles and doubles on the professional circuit. Now a popular tennis professional in Mann County California, Steve has twenty three years teaching experience and a large following of recreational players who are his ongoing doubles students. His doubles groups focus on blending fluid movement with tactical prowess to win matches. Steve organizes and coaches numerous men's and women's USTA teams ranging from 3.0 NTRP. to 5.0 NTRP. He is as dedicated to his students as they are to him. An avid student himself, Steve's interests include martial arts, yoga, piano and homeopathy. To relax he's likely to go hang gliding or motorcycling and is already at work on the sequel to this book. |
