Stefan Lundgren
has a long list of tennis credentials, including:
Professional tennis player from 1988-1990. Stefan played in the
professional tennis league in Germany where his match record one year was
20-1 in both singles and doubles. He was also part of the Team SIAB which
traveled throughout Europe and played in ITF junior world ranking tournaments.
In 1988, he reached the top 150 in both singles and doubles in the ITF junior
world rankings. Due to severe injury to his right arm, Stefan was forced
to retire from the tour in 1990.
Personal Coach. From1995 to present, Stefan has been the personal
coach of Fathi Abdel Fattah, one of top Egyptian juniors players now travelling
on the ITF junior tournament circuit.
Tennis Software Business. Stefan is part owner of Lundgren &
Helmersson HB, a software company that produces computer programs for tennis
coaches. Currently, two programs, Computer Tennis and World Wide Tennistest,
are available on the market. Lundgren and Helmersson HB also arranges and
conducts courses for tennis associations and tennis coaches around the world,
specializing in tennis drills and planning training sessions.
Top Instructor. Stefan has been an outstanding instructor
at two top Swedish tennis clubs. At the Skanes Tennis Association, the largest
and most successful district association in Sweden, Stefan was head coach
for boys 14-18. At the Munka Ljungby Tennisklubb, ranked among the top 15
clubs in Sweden for men's players, Stefan was a tennis instructor and tennis
psychologist.
