More Consistent Serve Via a Better Ball
Toss
by Monty Basnyat
Good Ball Toss Elements
- Start your toss with your arm straight, wrist is locked
and the ball on your finger tips.
- Bring the ball and racquet down together to about mid-thigh
on your lead leg and then up again in a fluid motion.
- The knee bend starts after the ball toss, not when you
start the motion.
- The tossing arm motion continues up even after the release
of the ball.
- Overall, the tossing arm remains straight and the wrist
locked throughout the tossing motion.
