5. Jumping through Hoops
In Pee Wees I already begin a fun and healthy introduction to conditioning.
Again variety is the key. What I usually try to do is set up an obstacle
course which can include simple hops on one foot, side stepping, push ups,
sit ups, relay race, and catching and tossing. Try to make the conditioning
as fun as possible. These initial contacts with conditioning mold their
outlook on exercising as a means of improving skills and having fun.
