6. Recover

The strategy of the defensive lob is to get back into the point. After I have finished the swing, I quickly move back to a centered ready position. The art of the defensive play is to always recover completely prior to your opponent's next hit. Somehow in this style, it appears that the defensive player is quicker than their own shots, and indeed they are. With the additional time gained from the height of the lob and your determination to get back into a good ready position, you will be nearly ready for anything.
