1. Faulty Positioning
a. Crossing Parallel to the Net
In this shot I (foreground) am moving toward the ball, but my momentum
is moving parallel to the net, not forward. Yes, my footwork pattern
is correct, but I'm not cutting off the ball. If you look at the ball you'll
notice that this is a high floater, something I can and should pounce on.
It's a real opportunity to play the ball down at my opponents' feet.
