2. Wrist and Elbow
From this ready position, what about the hands and arms when moving to
the ball? Quickly move your racquet head into position with your wrists.
Turn your palm facing forward for the forehand volley while again keeping
your elbows at your side. Accompany this with a slight shoulder turn
as you are quickly stepping to the ball. When you have prepared by turning
your wrist you may indeed be surprised to find yourself ready to react to
shots that you once thought were too fast.
