3. Volley Out in Front

This is the spot where you have the most control, touch and power. "Shorten your swing." Everyone has heard of this, for it is very common for volleyers to use far too much swing. Fortunately, with your elbows in and your wrist turned to the side, you have already eliminated most of the unneeded swing length. And without additional swing length, you too can volley out in front.
